Five-O Enterprises is a small business owned and operated by Scott Taylor.  I'm a native of Massachusetts, grew up not taking any interest in the trades.  I can still recount the time I had to use a hand saw for a Cub Scouts merit badge and completely hating it.  Later in life, I found himself becoming interested in woodworking, carpentry/construction, and the electrical aspects as a home owner.

The name Five-O was inspired by my former career as a full-time police officer in MA.  While I is no longer an officer, it is still a part of my identity. Thus the name is my way of paying homage to what I had wanted to do since I was a child.  It is a one-man operation that is not my full-time job.  I do have another part-time job as an associate lecturer for a university in Boston which has (obviously) contractual obligations and a set schedule.

Other interests of mine are photography and cooking.  Some of these can be carried over into my business whether its making sure to not just photograph work done in a haphazard way or my knife sharpening services. I also cannot be held responsible if while working on-site that anyone nearby gets hungry after being downwind when I eats something I brought for lunch!
