Five-O Enterprises is a small, one-person business owned and operated by Scott Taylor, a Massachusetts native who came to the trades later in life. After avoiding tools as a kid, right down to dreading a Cub Scout hand-saw project, homeownership sparked a genuine interest in woodworking, carpentry, construction, and residential electrical work.

The name “Five-O” honors a former career as a full-time police officer in Massachusetts, a role that remains an important part of personal identity and work ethic. Five-O Enterprises is a side business, operated alongside a few other part-time positions that are thankfully very flexible but at times, completely inflexible!

Beyond the trades, photography and cooking are hobbies that naturally complement the business. Care is taken to photograph finished work thoughtfully and knife sharpening services draw on the same respect for tools that good cooking requires to do it safely. One lighthearted warning: if work is being done on-site, anyone downwind at lunchtime may find themselves getting hungry!
